Emergency Department

Claremore Regional Hospital's Emergency Department is staffed 24/7 by a physician, clinical professionals and nurses certified in emergency medicine and advanced cardiac life support.

The Emergency Department (ED) houses a wide range of equipment and offers patients ready access to advanced technology such as MRI, CT scan and other Diagnostic Imaging. Once patients arrive in the ED, they are triaged for treatment. Triage is the process by which individuals are seen based on their need for immediate medical treatment. The ED team has implemented strategies to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care, while minimizing wait times.

What to Expect

Please be prepared to provide pertinent information about your medical history, including medicines you are taking, any allergies and a summary of your past illnesses, injuries and surgeries. This information allows our medical team to give you appropriate treatment.

Our goal in the Emergency Department is to provide prompt, quality medical attention for our patients, with continued emphasis on improving processes for a faster, more streamlined emergency room experience.

Individual wait times can vary widely in the emergency department, based on the number of beds available, the number of patients needing care and the severity of their conditions. Patients with the most serious and life-threatening conditions are seen first.
